The 3M 468MP adhesive tape is an industrial transfer adhesive whose special properties were developed for industrial applications. Nowadays, however, this product can also be found in the end customer sector, as it offers a wide range of possible uses. The high-quality acrylate adhesive film ensures permanent adhesion and a high final adhesive strength on many surfaces. 3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MP is a 5.2-mil (0.13 mm) thick double-sided transparent adhesive transfer tape powered by 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP.

Processing Information:
To achieve a good bond, the material surfaces to be bonded must be dry and clean. Grease-free solvents such as n-heptane or isopropyl alcohol are recommended for cleaning. When gluing, the highest possible pressure should be exerted and a temperature of at least + 4¡ãC should prevail. The higher the pressure and temperature, the better the adhesive penetrates the pores of the substrate and the higher the adhesive values ??that can be expected.

Outstanding Adhesion on Metals and HSE Plastics
3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MP features a 5.2 mil adhesive for splicing and laminating procedures using metals and HSE plastics. The thicker caliper adds wet-out capability for surfaces where adhesion may be compromised by slight textures or irregularities. 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP is delivered on a 4.2 mil, 58 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner which is excellent for rotary processing of graphic and die cut parts. This adhesive transfer tape also resists solvents, humidity and moisture, as well as heat up to 400°F / 204°C for short periods.
